The Recruit was designed to make Cub flying more accessible. Specifically designed to lower both operational and maintenance costs, the Recruit makes the perfect stepping stone into tailwheel flying.
Handling
A focus on economy has also created lower than average wing loading translating to superb handling and slow-speed performance. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a plane that’s more fun to burn up the patch with.
ASSEMBLY
With a complete kit and builder support standing by to take your questions building a Recruit is an enjoyable and rewarding process. The average build time for one person is around 750 hours. We were proud to watch the high schoolers at Lakeland Aero-Club get their Recruit kit ready for cover and engine built in one week.

It was an honor to be selected and partner with the Lakeland Aero-Club supporting youth in aviation. We had a blast at Sun ‘n Fun 2021 watching the kids fully assemble their new Recruit in a single week.
